How can I become a member?

What is the ACU of Texas routing number?

What are ACU of Texas' hours? Where can I find a branch?

Where can I find my member number?

Your account number can be found on the bottom of one of your checks, between the routing number and the check number. To complete electronic transactions or set up direct deposit, please use your complete account number. You can also contact us during regular business hours and we will be glad to help you.

How can I view my account balances?

For balance and transaction history, please log in to Digital Banking via our Mobile App or web browser.

How can I get a payoff for my ACU of Texas loan?

For the most accurate loan payoff quote, log in to ACU of Texas Digital Banking and select the loan account. In the upper right, select More to find the loan payoff option.

Which services are available in the drive-thru?

Most of your transactions can be performed through our drive-thru. When you visit the branch, simply pull in the drive-thru lane and one of our member service representatives will greet you and assist with your transaction. Drive-thru services include:
  • Deposits
  • Withdrawals
  • Instant issue of Debit Cards
  • Account opening
  • Loan applications

How can I update my address or contact information?

How can I set up direct deposit with ACU of Texas?

To set up direct deposit, please contact your employer's payroll department. You will need to provide the routing number and your account number.

I made a mobile deposit through ACU of Texas Remote Deposit. When can I expect my funds?

Hold times on deposited checks are based on the individual deposit. Regularly, mobile deposits are available every two hours and are typically available within 30 minutes of these posting times:
  • Regular weekdays: Four times throughout the day before 4 p.m.
  • Saturday: Before 4 p.m.
  • Sunday: Before 4 p.m.
  • All Credit Union holidays: Before 4 p.m.

What is my Debit Card limit?

Your daily limits are $500 cash from ATMs, $1,000 on the PIN/debit side of the card and $2,500 on the signature/credit side of the card. You can contact us during regular business hours to request temporary limit increases.

How can I order more checks?

Order or reorder checks online. You can also contact us for assistance during regular business hours.

My ACU of Texas card has a fraudulent charge. How can I make a fraud claim?

You can deactivate your card or mark it as lost using Card Controls in Digital Banking. You can also contact us for assistance during regular business hours.

How can I close my account?

We're sad to see you go. You can close your account by visiting any branch location or contacting us.

I disputed charges on my account. When will I receive my funds?

Debit and Credit Card fraud claims are processed and refunded within 10 business days. Funds from a dispute claim will be posted once credit is received.

I plan on traveling. Do I need to let ACU of Texas know?

Please let us know to avoid any unwanted service interruptions. Log in to Digital Banking via our Mobile app or web browser and select Travel Notice under the three button more option on the right hand corner. You can also contact us for assistance during regular business hours.

Is my money insured at ACU of Texas?

Your savings are federally insured and backed by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to $250,000. In addition to being backed by the NCUA, ACU of Texas provides Excess Share Insurance (ESI) to our members at no cost. This means your deposits are protected up to $500,000.00 per member – the highest level of combined federal/private savings insurance available.

To verify, please log in to Digital Banking via our Mobile App or web browser and click on the orange icon in the top right corner. Then, click Profile and verify your phone numbers.
